Persistent inflation and a positive
economic forecast in the United States might give the Federal Reserve room to
postpone its intentions to reduce interest rates.
The Fed's most recent
projection, unveiled last week, indicated a possibility of three rate
reductions for the year ahead.
However, if the pace of inflation easing towards
the 2% target slows down, it could lead to a reduction in the number of
anticipated cuts.
